A story of resilience and hope
Born in Rwanda in 1992, Cyusa Ian Berulo lost his mother at birth and his father and family in the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. Left homeless and navigating extreme hardship, he discovered that empathy and solidarity could lift people out of suffering.
Today he is a social inventor and humanitarian leader, founder of the Berulo Foundation and creator of the Berulo Ecosystem — integrated, community-based solutions built on education, technology, and dignity.
